EVENT DETAILS-
Monterey CA – 3/25/11 – College Cyclery and H5 Events announce the inaugural “Rain or Shine Jam” to be held on April 15th and 16th at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey. This low-key mountain bike dirt jump jam will feature top invited pro riders and was created to bring freeride mountain biking back to the Sea Otter.
We all know the weather can be finicky in Monterey this time of year, so if the sunshine’s they will be throwing down and if the rain comes we will be hanging at the Ride Zone. Either way come by and take part in the festivities.
The event will have feature a $2,000 prize purse provided by Oakley and four ramps built by Red Bull. Contour Helmet Cams will be providing cash and prizes for the “Best Whip It” contest. The Oakley Rolling “O” will be on hand as well as Bike Magazine and Punta San Carlos to ensure the party continues all day.
