Bikorama
The Sacramento Autorama is the longest continually running indoor Car Show in the world. RedBull Rampage This Weekend!
The worlds best freeriders, World cup racers and Dirtjumpers from all over the globe will come together on the worlds largest big mountain/freeriding stage, The Redbull Rampage. Randy Spangler and Josh Bender have been out there for a couple months building and designing. Queen of The Mountain
There is just six weeks left until the second annual Queen of the MTN, presented by Shine Riders Company. The event will take place at the College Cyclery Compound on August 11-12th 2012. Josh Bender has started the slopestyle course build and we have prizes rolling in from Oakley, Kali Protective, Loeka, Dakine, YeloVelo and more.
Queen of the Mountain is a two day event combining mountain bike coaching and competition in a friendly and encouraging environment for women. Coaching will be available for all ability levels. Queen of the Mountain has a main focus on the gravity/freeride style of mountain biking but also provides excellent opportunities for beginner and cross country riders. Pros will compete for cash prizes in Sundays slopestyle contest while amateurs will battle for awesome prizes from our great sponsors. We will also have a rider judged best trick category, juniors, a raffle for all clinic participants and much more.
The College Cyclery Compound was built and worked on by a number of Pro- Riders including; Randy Spangler, Josh Moreno, Josh Bender, and Kyle Jameson.
The compound currently features:
- Indoor pumptrack with lights
- Flow track
- Electric start gate
- 2 dirt jump lines (little tables and medium doubles)
- A big, but friendly trick jump
- wall rides and other wooden features
- 2 mile XC loop
- On-site camping
